Victor SilaIt is always great to see a Kenyan Jewel making a significant impact in the Diaspora.  Victor Sila is one such jewel. When Barack Obama was became the 44th president, he put up a song, Black President.

The song is now nominated in the 41st NAACP Awards for  Outstanding World Music Album.  The results will air on February 26, 2010.

It would be great if the winner  would a Kenyan singing about the first African-American president who, coincidentally, happens to have a Kenyan father.

We wish this Kenyan Jewel  good luck.  You can go here  for the complete list.
